از امروز تصمیم گرفته ام تمام کلمات جدید زبان انگلیسی را که در کلاس یاد گرفته و تمرین نموده ام در وبلاگم قرار دهم تا بقیه نیز از آن استفاده نمایند. تعریف هر واژه (کلمه) به صورت انگلیسی بوده و در پاره ای از موارد مثالهایی نیز ذکر شده است.

امیدوارم که مورد استفاده شما نیز قرار بگیرد.

درس ۱:

1- Top notch

Adjective informal of the highest quality. (top: the highest part of something.) 

 

2- Goal

The place where the ball must go to win a point in a game like football.

He kicked the ball into the goal.

 

3- Introduce

Bring people together for the first time and tell each of them the name of the other.

She introduced me to her brother.

 

4- Greet

Say or do something when you meet somebody.

He greeted me with a smile.

 

5- Model

A small copy of something.

This dress is a model. - she was a model as a teacher.

I see a model airplane in the store.

 

6- Intonation

The rise and fall of the voice in speaking.

She read the sentence with the wrong intonation.

 

7- Classmate

A fellow member of one´s school class.

Ali and I are classmate.

 

8- Conversation

A talk.

She had a long conversation with her friend on the phone.

 

9- Pair

Two things of the same kind that you use together.

He have buy a pair of earrings to her sister.

 

10- Response

An answer to somebody or something.

I wrote to them but I´ve had no response.
